Vodafone Netherlands launched today their first location aware and targeted ad campaign. The iPhone 320×240 HTML banner ad is customised based on the GPS location of the consumer with store details and walking distance. Once the consumer clicks on the ad, a store locator pops up, showing a Google map with directions and a click-to-call button.
The local aware HTML5 ad was made by LocalSensor in Amsterdam. The GPS information and ad targeting/delivery was provided by MADS across various Dutch publishers.
